TCI's Programs

Art, Music, and Physical Education

Art, music and adaptive physical education are taught by teachers certified in these areas. Participation in these activities promotes children's self-esteem and unique qualities.

The creativity and artistic abilities of TCI students have been recognized by the New Jersey Association of School and Agencies for the Handicapped (ASAH) and the New Jersey School Board Association for posters designed to celebrate Special Education Week. In addition, our students' artwork has been recognized and displayed in county and statewide art shows.

Music is an integral part of TCI's program. We offer our students many musical opportunities, including participation in our school chorus and instruction in a variety of instruments.

TCI recognizes the need for physical activity and the development of team-building skills. At TCI, we believe that the physical development of children goes hand-in-hand with their intellectual and social development.
