Behaviorally Disabled Program Students in the Behavioral Disabled Program are provided with instruction in all academic areas including reading, language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, study skills, family life, health and safety. A multi-sensory approach is utilized based on the unique learning style of each student. Middle school students participate in a modified departmental program. Students also receive additional instruction in our Career Education room and Life Skills apartment. Collaborative relations with community resources including The Newark Museum, The Museum of Natural History and Mountainside Hospital enhance TCI's science, health education and family life programs.
