Video/Film Production

This year promises to be a big year for our video/film department. Our 2nd and 3rd year students have reached a level of proficiency to allow them to create semi-pro videos for publication.

Work will continue on our TCI Sk-Cool News Season with hilarious spoofs of "real" TV culminating in our yearly Flying Chicken "Oscar" awards.

Watch the TCI roundup of strange facts and happenings at our school. Are they for real? Watch and find out.

I continue to search out partnerships to bring our TCI "film" students to the rich world of creative production in the NY metro area. Stay tuned for exciting developments!

Literature and Language

We have started our course with a short story by Franz Kafka, The Metamorphosis. My students are engaged in the story and are becoming skilled at analyzing the symbolic significance of this great work. We will produce a multimedia presentation on Kafka and his most famous work. I'll share a link to those when complete.

Reading, Writing and Speaking

My students are working on critical reading on nonfictional articles and practicing effective writing and speaking skills through creating on camera news articles about their topic. I'll post the results!
