At TCI, we are committed to offering our students the same kinds of activities and experiences that are available to students in their local public schools.
Through our after school programs, TCI students ages 3-21 develop friendships and build recreation and leisure skills, while learning from other students – many of whom do not have a disability.
TCI parents work hard and need a break, and our students need a chance to practice being more independent in order to become self-reliant adults.
Our Respite Program offers students ages 8 -21 an overnight experience with peers, under the careful supervision and support of TCI staff. Ten times a year, our respite overnight program offers our students the opportunity to learn and apply social, self-help, and communication skills. Students receive direct instruction in skills in our fully equipped Life Skills Apartment.
…..and parents get the night off!
