Sparacino, Melissa

Greetings from the Science Classroom.

My name is Melissa Sparacino and I am your child's science teacher.   I would like to start off by sharing some background information about myself.  I attended Richard Stockton College where I studied Marine Biology.  Two years after graduating, I returned to school to receive my teaching certification in science at Rider University.  I am currently enrolled in Capella University to receive my Masters in Special Education.  This will be my third year at The Children's Institute and I love working with the caring staff and wonderful students.

It has been an exciting year with our move to Livingston.  The science room has been fully set up and is feeling more and more like home with the students' work proudly displayed on the walls.  There are so many things to look forward to with the hopefully addition of Space and Earth Study as part of the Physical Science year and another year of frog dissection as part of the Biology class.  As always, we will continue with our tasty Chemistry in the Kitchen Unit with the chemistry students.

I look forward to getting to know your child and hope you always feel free to contact me with any concerns or questions.
